Standen's Pasture
In 2007 a new area of grassland measuring just over 3.5 hectares was donated to the Wildlife Trust. The area, now known as Standen's Pasture, has pedestrian access located off the Wansford Road, about 650m north of the main access point to Sulehay Forest.

The Sulehay Volunteer Group spent much of the 2007/2008 winter work program installing stock fencing and gates on the site.

Images from
www.bioimages.org.uk
Unfortunately, the bioimages.org.uk website is not functioning again today (05-Jul-09). We hope that the problem is only temporary, and that our links to that site will be operational again soon.

In the meantime, using many of the links on our 'Look out for . . . ' pages will result in a fault message. We will monitor the situation, and in the worst case, we may have to remove these links. Such a change would be a great pity, since the 'bioimages' photographs provided a magnificent resource to help amatures (such as myself) identify plants.

If anyone out there knows of an alternative site providing photograhic examples of UK flora (and permitting free access to links from other non-comercial websites), then please let us know by emailing .
