The Ecosystems at Sulehay Nature Reserve

The Old Sulehay Nature reserve, comprising Old Sulehay Forest, Stonepit Quarry and Ring Haw, provides an interesting and varied ecosystem. It is one of the most important limestone sites in Northamptonshire, and one that the Wildlife Trust considers to be an essential part of its remit to acquire and preserve rare and diminishing habitats.

The reserve ecology is described under the three separate areas that make up the reserve, namely Sulehay Forest, Stonepit Quarry and Ring Haw. The importance and benefits of these areas are outlined, together with a summary of the important plant and animal species found in the areas.

Use the appropriate link under the 'Reserve Ecosystems' section to access the information for the area of interest.
